FREEDOM IN CHRIST'S WORK IN UGANDA
Josh Shaarda works with Michael Obino to lead the Freedom in Christ Ministries team in Uganda. In an inspiring demonstration of faith and commitment, the team facilitates regular discipleship lessons in an incredible 30 locations each week, including a dedicated Prison Ministry in twelve prisons.
Last week, the team completed the Steps to Freedom in Christ at Moroto Prison, and it proved to be a deeply fruitful and transformational experience for everyone involved.
Please pray for the Uganda team's 38 members, together with 11 from the South Sudan team, that is starting, as they attend a spiritual retreat this week (June 25–27), being reminded of how their identity in Christ uniquely prepares them for leadership. Ask God to refresh and strengthen each person, deepen their unity, and lead them into an even closer relationship with Him through the guidance and power of His Holy Spirit.
